I’m going to Hawaii next week. Specifically I’ll be residing in Volcano, HI, by way of Hilo International Airport. Fishing is on the menu, and perhaps hunting as well but I’m not certain of this yet.
I’m also going for a run. Although I’ve not done an endurance run in months (strength training has been my focus), I plan to record at least one run in the area of the nearby volcano via GPS. (Pro tip – When visiting Hawaii, you have to maintain a constant brisk pace or the lava will melt your shoes.)

P.S. My littlest sister has suggested that I need to go to a burger chain such as Burger King and order a spam burger–a local treat. I’ll see what I can do.
