Goodbye, Evernote

Evernote has recently implemented a 50 notes 1 notebook limit. Astonishingly, they are asking for $130+ USD a year for access to an extremely slow and buggy notetaking service. I *might* have considered paying $12 annual for some basic lightweight and lightning fast notetaking with no frills; Instead Evernote went the clunky and costly route.

By contrast I have a backup service that costs $7/month to backup unlimited data, which for me is currently 10 terabytes. What I want out of Evernote should cost 50 cents, if that.

Sorry Evernote but you leave me no choice but to leave. I had already started to save half of my notes off your service because of just how unbelievably slow your website and app are, but now you’ve made it mandatory for all my notes. Goodbye.
