Why hate?

There are things I like about him and things I’m suspicious of. Green technology isn’t all it is cracked up to be yet—in some cases it is literally smoke and mirrors. There’s concerns that the rare earth minerals needed to support green energy are in the hands of our geopolitical enemies, which makes it unwise to change our economy to rely on them. Therefore a lot of what he does in a vacuum is good, but his results on reality may be a mixed bag. Only the future will tell.
But he does cool stuff. And doing things with anticipation that the future will be better is generally good and the only real course of action. I haven’t seen him do anything yet that is fundamentally disconnected from reality and that’s why I don’t dislike him.
He’s a human being. I maintain low expectations. I hope to be pleasantly surprised.
