I found and reported a Firewatch bug today where the cassette tape for Booth 24 is not in the correct spot on the map. The map indicates it is by the stream. It is actually between the stream and cache box 309. Nothing came up on Google about it so hopefully this blog post helps someone out. Cheers.
This was very helpful. Thank you. Somehow, it took me hours to find this audio tour cassette. I even did a grid search of the whole area, and never found it until I found this post. Oddly, it’s actually on the path, but all the foliage makes it blend in quite well, despite the blinking light.
Bonus: on the last day, there’s a hidden audio tour that’s not on the map at all. It is located on the very east side of the map on the entrance trail, where the trail is blocked. This is the same trail you came in on at the start of the game.
